Expectations
At least when I moved to Spain, I expected everything to be radically different. It was another country, after all. I knew, going in, that I would need to show my passport. I knew that I would need to speak their language and live by their rules. I knew that I would need to forget everything I knew.
Moving to Miami was much harder, in retrospect. In fact, I often think about how much more at ease...

I’ve got time today. Just drinking coffee and sending some work-related emails.Â
